We’re looking for a Recruiter to join our team!
Qualified applicants will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for multiple organizations. This person will help build client relationships and support various client’s personnel needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes, keeping all jobs current and updated with relevant information
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates for open positions
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with applicants
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
- Work closely with employees and client companies to record, maintain and update attendance records and all relevant communication on employee performance
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Verify I9s, process health insurance requests, process reference checks, complying with state and federal requirements
- Performs other clerical duties as assigned
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions as needed
- Bring new ideas to management to improve efficiencies and procedures
- Inside and outside sales are also available for a candidate who excels in relationship building
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual; English and Spanish preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment or have the ability OR an interest to learn
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or related software
Education and Experience:
- Related field, or equivalent work experience, required
- 1-2 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer and phone
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to meet with employees and clients in person and through video calls
