QA Inspector C

Valencia based Aerospace company is searching for an experienced QA Inspector- C.

Pay range is $17 – $21/hr DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection of products using micrometers, calipers, thread gages, optical comparator, and other standard inspection equipment

• Read and interpret fastener drawings such as MS, NAS and AS standards, customer drawings, supplier drawings, and related specifications

• Create master inspection records

• Review certification packages for completion, legibility, traceability, and accuracy

• Accurately measure and document all inspection and verification activities

• Accurately document any nonconformances detected

• Read, understand, and follow internal instructions and policies

• Communicate with the department supervisor and other inspectors, ask questions, learn, and gain experience, knowledge, and skills in this role

Background Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Pass the required yearly visual requirements

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to understand instructions given in verbal or written form

• The ability to work as part of a team

• The ability to lift/move 30 pounds

• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages

• Ability to speak, read, and write to clearly and effectively communicate with customers, team mates and other internal departments

• Good attitude and willingness to learn and develop/improve inspection skills

• Good organizational and communication skills

• Ability to meet deadlines of assigned jobs while maintaining integrity of the position

• Ability and willingness to work overtime

• Self-motivated, analytical, good time management, detail oriented and thorough
