Manual Lathe Machinist

Our Valencia- based company is looking for a Manual Lathe Machinist! This position requires sitting for long periods of time and repetitive work involving metal.

Job Duties:
– Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes
– Use hand tools to perform precision machining tasks
– Read and interpret blueprints as needed
– Inspect finished parts
– Assemble components according to specifications
– Collaborate with team members as needed to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
– Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a manual machinist or in a similar role
– Proficient in operating manual machines such as lathes
– Strong attention to detail and precision in machining tasks
– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues
– Ability to work independently
