Law Firm in Valencia, CA is immediately hiring a Legal Assistant to provide support to the attorney and prepare legal documents.

This position is a temp-to-hire role from 9:00am – 5:30pm Monday – Friday

$18.00-$20.00/hour depending on experience

Legal Assistant Job Duties:

  • Draft various legal documents for court
  • Ability to prepare Table of Contents and Table of Authorities for legal briefs in MS Word
  • Schedule clients for medical treatment and communicate with clients and medical providers
  • Order medical records
  • Prepare files for settlement demands
  • Frequent communication with clients
  • Negotiate medical liens
  • Answering calls, making copies, and scanning
  • Various other duties

Legal Assistant Qualifications:

  • Looking for someone with experience working in a law office. Will consider entry level candidates & recent graduates.
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Intermediate experience with MS Word and Excel
