Job description

General Contractor Company in Valencia is looking for a full time experienced administrative assistant to assist with estimating and bid coordination. The right candidate will have excellent reading, comprehension, and administrative skills.

This is a long term, temp to hire opportunity through Quantum Staffing.

M-F 8am-5pm.

$25.00/hour DOE.

Preferred Skills & Requirements:

· Must be detail oriented

· Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

· Administrative skills working for a general contractor a plus

· Maintain project bid schedule.

· Compile bid documents for submission to the Owner.

· Request bid bonds from our bonding agent.

· Coordinate job walks for projects that we’re bidding.

· Help call out bids to our bid runner on bid day.

· Help solicit subcontractor pricing for projects bidding.

· Work with our chief estimator for submitting pre-bid questions to the Owner.

· Work closely with our Business Development Administrator.

· Prefer candidates with a college degree

This person must have the ability to juggle a number of active tasks at one time.
